​Master of Korean cuisine with 40 years of dignity 

 

 

Lotte Hotel Seoul's buffet restaurant "Lacene" offers a special and sophisticated meal with more than 200 dishes created on the spot from chefs' hands. It is a studio-type kitchen where you can experience various cuisines, and there are 8 live sections including Asian, Japanese, Western, Noodle, Cold Meal, Korean Grill, Dessert, and Bar.

 

Chef Kim Song-ki, who leads La Seine, has been a chef at Lotte Hotel for about 40 years since 1982. The title of ‘Master of Korean Cuisine’, which is given only to artisans with the best skills, came from his efforts and passion. He has established his own culinary philosophy while gaining training experience in Singapore, Japan, and Hong Kong. He has played an important role in supervising and overseeing luncheons and dinners at major domestic and international events such as the 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup, the 2011 G20 Summit, and the 2012 Nuclear Security Summit.
