“Succeed in the tradition of 350 years of taste“
Cho Kwi-boon is the 13th disciple of the Jae-ryeong Lee clan, Seok-gye, Lee Si-myung, and she recreates the taste of tradition as an ambassador of Eumsikdimibang. Eumsikdimibang, with a 350-year history, is the first cookbook in Korean and written by a woman in East Asia. It is a guidebook for traditional food that records the dietary life and culture passed down from the noble families of the Joseon Dynasty. Counselor Cho Kwi-boon has passed on and spread the recipes recorded in Eumsikdimibang, continuing the legacy of the family. It is thanks to the hard work of the eldest daughter-in-law of the head family, Cho Kwi-Boon, that the recipe does not remain only in book type. The recipe was reborn in a modern way, replacing hard-to-find ingredients.
