"Master of Korean Cuisine with 40 Years of Dignity"
Lotte Hotel Seoul's buffet restaurant "Lacene" offers a special and sophisticated meal with more than 200 dishes created on the spot at chefs' hands. It is a studio-type kitchen where you can experience various cuisines. There are eight live sections including Asian, Japanese, Western, Noodle, Cold Meal, Korean Grill, Dessert, and Bar.
Chef Song-ki Kim, a head chef of La Seine, has been a chef at Lotte Hotel for about 40 years since 1982. The title of ‘Master of Korean Cuisine’, which is given only to artisans with the best skills, was taken for his efforts and passion. He has established his own culinary philosophy while gaining overseas experiences in Singapore, Japan, and Hong Kong. He has played an important role in supervising and overseeing luncheons and dinners at major domestic and international events such as the 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup, the 2011 G20 Summit, and the 2012 Nuclear Security Summit.
