Keiko Nagae

After studying the Law in Tokyo, Keiko Nagaearrives in France to study language and French culture. She learns French pastry at Cordon Bleu in Paris then started training at Ladurée, where she is employed for 3 years.After this uncommon start she joins Pierre Gagnaire for the opening of Sketch in London on 2002, her first place as a pastry chef at the gastronomicrestaurant. She comes back to France, restaurant le Meurice with Yannick Alleno then joins to Michel Troisgros for the opening of his restaurant at Hôtel Lancaster.She stays as the head pastry chef during 4 years.

In 2008, she comes back to work again with Pierre Gagnaire, at his restaurant in Paris 8e as the head pastry chef.She participates and manages many opening of his restaurants in the world,also a lot of international events, as the executive pastry chef of Pierre Gagnaire. In 2012, she establishes her own company ‘AROME -Conseilenpâtisserie’ Training the chefs, participates different kinds of gastronomic projects: creates the recipes for the chefs or for the materials makers, concept development, organization for the opening of salon de thé/ pastry shop, etc.
